Boarding at MDGC
Single-sex hostels, resident staff, a fixed routine and three meals a day.
Boarding at MDGC is structured and homely. Students live in single-sex hostels with resident staff, keep a fixed routine of prep, meals, sport and rest, and go home at mid-term and end of term.
Hostels are supervised by a resident matron and house staff who live on the campus. Rooms are inspected daily, and the routine below is kept every school day. Parents can reach the house staff at any time.

What boarding includes
- Three meals daily plus a light evening snack
- Laundry service for uniforms and bedding
- Resident matron, house masters and mistresses
- Sick bay with a nurse on call
- Visiting day once a month, published in the calendar
- No mobile phones; a supervised call slot each week
Boarding fees and the prospectus list
Boarding is charged per term with feeding included. The list of what to bring is issued with the admission letter.
