Junior Secondary
Three years of broad foundation study. Every student takes the same core curriculum, learns to study independently and sits the BECE at the end of JSS 3.

Senior Secondary
Students choose a stream at the end of JSS 3 with guidance from their form teacher and the counselling unit. Compulsory subjects run across all streams; elective subjects are chosen with university admission requirements in mind.

Every student learns a trade.
The Federal Ministry of Education's revised curriculum requires every secondary student to learn a trade alongside academic subjects. From the approved list, MyDreams Global College offers two, chosen because both are practised in Enugu State today and will still be in demand when this year's JSS 1 students leave school.
Solar panel installation and maintenance
How photovoltaic systems generate and store power, and how to install and look after them safely. Students work on the college's own solar installation and on training rigs in the technology workshop.
What students learnLivestock farming
Rearing poultry, goats and rabbits on the school farm. Students run the farm in teams through the year and account for every naira spent and earned.
What students learnStudents choose one trade in JSS 1 and continue it to SSS 3. It is taught in timetabled periods with practical sessions, assessed each term like every other subject, and sat as an examinable subject in the BECE and the senior school certificate examinations.
What runs through every class.
Reading programme
Every class keeps a reading log, and the library sets a termly reading list for each level. The motto is not decorative: students are expected to read widely and talk about what they read.
ICT and digital skills
Computer studies from JSS 1, typing and office software early, then coding, spreadsheets and research skills in senior classes.
Trade subjects
Every student learns a trade from the Federal Ministry of Education list. MDGC offers solar panel installation and maintenance, and livestock farming, with practical work on the school's own solar system and farm.
Guidance and counselling
Stream selection, subject combinations for UTME, study habits and personal welfare are handled by trained counsellors, not left to chance.
7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Nine periods of forty minutes, two breaks, and an hour of clubs or sport before day students go home. Boarders continue with prep after dinner.
